For over 175 years, William Jewell College has kept a careful watch over the hilltop community of Liberty, Missouri. The Garnett M. Peters Theater, nestled inside Brown Hall, carries its own thread of that long history: a place where human emotion has been poured into the walls each performance, season after season.

The Fraternal Order of Odd Fellows bought the Winner Hotel in 1894, and began work on what would come to be known as the Odd Fellows Home in 1900. The compound includes a former hospital, nursing home, and palliative care unit, all of which have been abandoned for decades. Only the former administration/orphanage building remains in use as the beautiful and atmospheric Belvoir Winery and Inn, a hotspot destination for weddings, special events, and paranormal experiences!
